hmmm strange that all have problems with almost the same thing. Maybe some bug went into Steam-net and make this mess or in worst case hacker attack - but i doubt that

you can use the disc to reinstall CS:S, DOD:S and the other games, otherwise you can re-download them off Steam.

ha im not the only one with problems
lost my raid aray and had to reinstall now all me usb ports have blowen so no razer mouse had to borrow old ps2 ball mouse omg dont no if ill give dods a go with that ut will see have to get new motherboard now

i had the same problem as fazer - i have reinstall system and then download "clear" steam without anything (no orange maps etc) installed and till today its working fine

i have the problem, that after a while the screen is frozen for
a few minutes - an the PC dont reacts anymore
this happens also if only steam is running - without playing

Donner loads ok.....runs for 15 secs....then disconnects
Then won`t load again!

@ Robabell,

There was an Server-update, so your Steam was faster updated than the server, so you cant connect than.
